Ocean Park

Ocean Park sits on the bluffs above Boundary Bay in the southwest corner of Surrey, roughly bounded by 24 Avenue to the north, 128 Street to the west, 16 Avenue to the south, and 132 Street to the east. Tall second-growth firs, quiet dead-end streets, and glimpses of ocean at the ends of west-facing lanes define the setting.

Its village core at 128 Street and 20 Avenue is one of the oldest commercial nodes in South Surrey, with a handful of cafés, a grocer, and independent shops. Crescent Beach is a short drive or cycle away, and White Rock's pier is minutes to the south.

Ocean Park grew up as a summer-cottage community in the early 1900s, served by the BC Electric Railway's interurban line between New Westminster and White Rock (1910–1950). Many original cottages were later converted or rebuilt, but the tree canopy, narrow lanes, and street grid still trace the neighbourhood's streetcar-era origins. Ocean Park Community Hall, built in 1926, remains a working neighbourhood landmark.
