About Morgan Crossing
Morgan Crossing is an open-air, mixed-use village at 24 Avenue and 160 Street, on the western edge of the Grandview Heights uplands. Ground-floor shops, cafés, and restaurants line Market Street, with residential lofts and condominiums above.
Together with the adjacent Grandview Corners power centre, it forms South Surrey's largest retail node — everyday errands, dining, and wellness within a compact walkable footprint. Newer townhome enclaves ring the village to the north and east.
History
Developed by Larco Investments and opened in phases from 2008 through 2012, Morgan Crossing was designed as a European-style high street alternative to the enclosed-mall model. It replaced pasture and greenhouse land on the west flank of Grandview Heights and quickly became a South Surrey gathering spot. Residential floors above the shops introduced true mixed-use living to a neighbourhood otherwise dominated by single-family construction.
