About Morgan Creek
Morgan Creek is a low-density, tree-lined estate community wrapped around the Morgan Creek Golf Course, roughly bounded by 32 Avenue to the south, 40 Avenue to the north, King George Boulevard to the west, and 152 Street to the east.
Curving streets, mature landscaping, and larger-than-typical lots set it apart from newer sub-areas in South Surrey. Homes back onto fairways, creek greenways, and forest edges, giving the neighbourhood a distinctly parkland feel while still being minutes from Highway 99 and Grandview Corners.
History
Morgan Creek was master-planned in the early 1990s around a golf course designed by Canadian architect Thomas McBroom, which opened in 1995. The residential streets built out in phases through the late 1990s and 2000s, filling in cul-de-sacs with executive-scale homes on generous lots. A creek greenway system was preserved through the centre of the community, linking Morgan Creek to Sunnyside Park.
